Constable Sheehan proved the case. His Worship said he would fine accused 10s, and 4.0a for obscene language. CNUEOIBTEUKD DOO. J. Fearon, on remand, was charged with having an unregistered dog m his possession. Constable Dai'ey proved that tho dog belonged to accused, and it was coloured black and tan. Miss Walley remembered giving tho dog to accused about three or forr months ago. Fcaron eaid ho had no dog m hU possession einco tho 23rd of Juno. When Miss Walley gave him tho dog it went back to her, and he never saw it aftenv.irds. His Worship said ho had no doubt the dog wns accused's, and would fine Fearon 10s, and ho would fi'eo have to pet aco''ur. LAUCE.Vy. James Cowloy, a young boy, was charged with stealing £1 m silver from S. ishnppcre. Inspector Broham appeared for tho prosecution. S. Shappere, watchmaker, stated he remembered last Tuesday afternoon when accused was m his shop, and ho served liim with a clay pipe. About a quarter of an houraftcrwords ho missed money from the till of tho tobacco shop. He remembered Detective Kirby bringing accusod to his shop. Accused seemed confused. Tho Bench sent Cowley to gnol for one month.
