Tramp 1 Cardegon 2 Barney 3 Wanderer, Cranmer, and Billy Kraaft, also ran. The raco was won ousily by Tramp.' Dividend— £3 14a Gd. Hack Bace. Won easily by Native Cat. Eailway Stakes Handicap, of 40 sots ; i milo. Sir William, 7st 41b 1 Barney, Bst 4lb 2 Never Mind, 7st Gib 3 Burgundy, Duchess of Albany, Hazard, Nor! oik Lass, nnd Nor'-wester also ran. Won easily by Sir William. Dividond— £4 17s Gd. Huedle Handicap, of 40 soys ; 2 miles. Levant, lOst 61b 1 Harkaway, 9st Gib ... 2 Priam, Ost 121 b 3 All the jumps w?ro taken without baulking, although .Daisy had a fall, but the rider mounted again and rodo out the race. There was a, fine contest between Levant and Harkaway, but the former won easily. All tho races were slow. Tho " spoolers " wero m great strength and activo all day. They refused to discontinue their games when requested by the police, and interfered considerably with tho business of the totalisator. The day's sport was not marred ,by accident of any kind.
