The bridge over tho Waimea Creek on the Christchurch road, seven miles from this place, was washed away yesterday. It is doubtful if the mail coach, which left at 12 o'clock, can proceed further. At the inquest on the body of the Norwegian killed yesterday a verdict of accidental death was returned.
