September, 22. Mr E. O. Staveloy, for the New Zealand Loon and Mercantile Agonay Company, Limited, reports on the Trowald market as follows : — Moderate entry o£ sheep, the domand being? qniet : Fat merino wethers, lls ; modiuni crossbreds, 14s; aged merino ewes m lamb, 6s 6d ; rood merino ewes with heavy percentage of lambs, I3s ; 4 and C-tooth crossbred ewes with a hundred per cent ot lambs, 17s ; do, mixed ages, 14s Cd. There was a fair demand of cattle and an avenge entry. Fat boilers, from £4 12s 6d to £» 10s ; forward steers, Jtb ; mixed two-year-olds, £3 Gs ; twenty months, £2 7s ; springsrs, £i 17s 6d for medimn sorts.
