THE PROROGATION.
After the concluaiou of the formal business m the Legislative Council, a Message was rereived from His Excellency the Governor intimating bis assent to a number of Bills that had been passed during tho session. Sir William Fitzherbert then read tho Governor's Commission appointing himself and the Rons. P. A. Buckley and Sir F. Whitaker Commissioners to prorogue Parliament. The members of the House of Bepre•entatives were then summoned to attend, and they entered the Chamber headed by the Speaker and the Sergeant-at-Arma. Tho Commissioners then prorogued Parliament m terms of tbeir Commission till the 19th of December at 4 30 p.m.
