A BOISTEROUS PASSAGE.
Wellington, August i. The Union Company's s.s. Tekapo, which arrived from Sydney at 10.30 thia morning, experienced a heavy aontherly gale for five days. At midnight on the 28th nit., Frank Ferguson, an A.8., fell from the upper yard, breaking his left leg and several ribs. Ho was attended by Dr Marton, a passenger. At 11 a.m. on the Ist mat. a whirlwind passed over the ship, bnt did no damage. Mr Gonlter'B ram Grand Prince, valued at 262 guineas, was lost.
