GERALDINE ROAD BOARD ELECTION.
(By Telegraph.) (from our own correspondent.) Geraldine, May 6. The poll for the election of three members to serve on the Geraldino Road Board was held to-day. The polling-booths were opened at Geraldine, Woodbury and Hilton, but no great interest was taken m the election, which resulted as follows : — Geral- Wooddine, bury. Hilton. Tl. Flatman ... 97 23 20 160 Kelland ... 100 31 10 141 Slack ... S2 20 14 126 Tripp ... 17 10 1 28 The announcement of the poll was made at the Road Board Office by the Returning Officer, Mr C. E. Sherratt, who declared the first three gentlemen duly elected to serve as members of the Road Board. Messrs Flatman and Kelland were present, and thanked the ratepayers for their renewed confidence, all the old members being re-elected.
