The various events resulted as follows : —Two-year-old Plate, five furlongs— Keith 1, Belle Mahono 2, Discord 3. All Aged Stakes, one mile — Asprodea 1, King's Own 2, Abner 3 ; won easily. Welter Handicap, one mile and a quarter — Mascotte 1, Rainbow 2, Happy Thought 3. Twenty horses Btarted. Mascotte won easily. Time — 2min ll|sec. City Handicap, one mile and a half— Merlin 1, Tom Brown 2, Coriolanus 3. Sailed, this day — Hauroto, s.a., for Wellington. New Zealand wheat has advanced to 2s 6d ; New Zealand oats to 2s 2d. Maize has declined to 3s ; Sugar Company's No. 1 pieces remain at £26.
