Government have as yet received no answer to the communication addressed by Earl Granville to the Russian Foreign Office on 16th March, on the subject of the Afghan frontier dispute. Calcutta, March 26. It is announced that General Sir Frederick Roberts with the force of 25,000 men, now being mobolised, will proceed without delay to occupy Bolan Pass.
