The latest betting on the Newmarket Handicap is 7 to 1 against Sir Garnet and Prometheus, 10 to 1 against Cornet. Champion Stakes — 7 to 1 against Commotion. [Keceived 10 p.m., Feb. 27th.] Sydney, Feb. 27. Owing to new regulations having been issued prohibiting competitors' steamers from following the race, it is doubtful if the sculling match between Beach and Clifford will take place to-morrow.
