The Melbonrne manager of the National Mortgage and Agency Company of Now Zealand (Limited), reports on the local grain market as follows : — Wheat, 4s 3d to 4s 4d, market dull and drooping ; malting barley- is neglected, to-day's quotations are — 4s Cd to 5s 3d ; New Zealand oats aro in fair demand at 2a lOd to 33 Id for feeding, and 3s Id to 3s 2d for milling sorts ; ditto under bond, 2a to 2s 4d. ■■
