Auckland, Oct. 13. The vessel which anchored off the North ( Head ou Friday proved to be the Augusta, from Roekhainpton ; not the Ran3oin as telegraphed. Wellington, Oct. 14. Arrived — Taiaroa, s.s., from the north; Southern Cross, s.s., from Auckland; Wakatu, s.*., from Kaikonra ; Caborfeidh, barquo, from New York. The steamer Wakatu, which arrived from Kaikonra last night, met with a heavy sea sea when entering tho Heada, and one wave breaking over the poop, damaged the house over the cabin and flooded the cabin. No serions damage was sustained.
