Bushnell, barquentine, for Lyttelton. Jan. 7 — Oreti, s.s., for Invercargill. Auckland, Jan. 7. The City of New York arrived to-day from Sydney. She was delayed by strong easterly gales. Her passengers for New Zealand are the Hon. J. Wilson, Mr and Mrs L. Graham, Hon. Mr Waterhouse, and Mr T. L. Richardson ; also 36 saloon, and 26 steerage, and. 4O tons of cargo for San Francisco. The Tararua sailed for Sydney with 25 passengero, including Mr G. M. Reed. Sailed — Moa, for Dunedin. The mail Bteamer sailed at 5 o'clock ■with 23 saloon and steerage passengers for all ports. Napieb, Jan. 7. The ship Adamant, with immigrants, 90 days out, was signalled off Opunaki yesterday. She signalled " All well," and desired to be reported at Napier. Wellington, Jan. 7. Messrs Levien and Co. are advised by telegram, under date, London, Ist January, that the Chimborazo arrived at Plymouth on the the 30th December, and the Garonne sailed thence on the 31st with 407 passengers and a full cargo. Sailed — Wakatipu, South, at 3 p.m. Passengers — Miss Wilson ; Messrs Hickson, Cunningham, Rose, Mills (2), Boundy, Russell, Dawson, and Kitchen. Blttff, Jan. 7. The trip of the Rotorua to the Sounds has been a complete success, no accident marring the enjoyment all through.
