London, Augvist 22. The produce market is languid. Wool steadily advanced, towards the close of the sale, which closed at an advance on the opening rates of 2d and 3d per lb. Since the sale the market has been firm, and prices well maintained with a fair enquiry. The New Zealand flax sales are flat, and the bulk was bought m. 700 bales were sold at a decline of 20s to 25s per ton. Middling, £32 103 ; good, £36 Is ; fine, £39. Tallow sold freely, but at the close the market was less active. Casks of sheep's fetched £42 3s to £42 93 ; beef, £22 to £41 3s. Hides were m good demand at Is 8d advance, 31)7 Hew Zealand, sold at 6^d ; leather is m active demand at 13s 4d advance. The Olympia, with the Nebraska's passengers has not arrived. The Idaho is is engaged by the agents of the line to make up the lost time. In breadstuiis heavy transactions have been jnarle. Wheat is 1 dol GO cents ; flour, 5 dols 50 cents. The Liverpool quotation for wheat, on September 9, was 12s lOd per cental. Wool m San Francisco is dull at 16 cents to 18 cents.
