The lirst ploughing match iii this district took place on 15t,h Sept. m a. level gross paddock on Jffr Acton's farm. .The ground wus in,excellent condition, having been moistened a day or two previously by a good shower. The Weather wiis most, favorable for a contest of this kind, aiid there' was a large attendance both of: competitors aud .spectators...
