MAFEKING SAFE ON 20TH.
A KRUGERITE EDICT. THE DIAMOND CENTRE. ' DURBAN, Nov. 23. Mafeking reported on the 20tli instant that the town was safe, but lacks pure water, fever being prevalent. PRETORIA, November 23. President Kruger has forbidden the American Consul to furnish Great Britain with information regarding the prisoners. CAPETOWN, Nov. 23/ A sortie was made by the British at Kimberley on the 16th, and resulted in the capture of several positions and killing twenty.
