ii'Bt. l-'IIESS AsSOniATIOU.) Napikßj March 22. A garrotting case occurred late on Saturday, night. Mr James Me liitoshV of Douglas station,, was brutally assaulted in Munroe street and robbed of £7. Half an hour after receiving inforniationof the assault Detective Chry.stal arrested two men named Robinson and Fitz gerald at thenar Hotel on the charge An examination of their clothes revealed traces of fresh blood, and one of the ace ised had some money corresponding with the amount stolen. Accused wore biought up at the Court this morning, and remanded for eight days.
