A FATAL ACCIDENT.
(By Telegraph,—Press Association) Wanqanui, April 12. At Fordell, last night, Harry Laing, the tfell'known prize-fighter, attempted to alight from a train whilst it was in motion. Ho fell under tho train, and had bothhia logs cub o(T. Tho train stopped at tho bottom of Fordoll Hill, and wontbaok and brought Laing into the Wanganui Hospital, whero he died shortly after 12,30 to-day.
