THAMES BOROUGH COUNCIL.

The usual fortnightly meeting of tho Borough Council was hold last night, when there wero present,—His Worship tho Mayor (chairman), Crs Wood, Koefoed, Menzies, Davy, Scott, Brown, Trembath, and Comer. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and confirmed. School of Mines,—An amount equal to the annual rates to the School of Mines was passed as usual, Flood Money.—The Under-Secrotary wrote stating that the sum of £250, being balance of tho grant of £500, had been passed for payment to the Council towards the cost of repairing the damage caused by the January flood.
