INTERCOLONIAL LABOUR ■ CONFERENCE.

.Sydney, Februarys. The Intercolonial Labour Conference ■lias opened its ■sitting, here, .but Victoria New Zealand, and, Tasmania are not represented. A schemfi is being drafted for Australian federation of labour, which will be submitted to another Conference at Baltarat in April. The scheme provides that each Union shall retain a selfoGoyerumeut of its. own particular affairs, and federate in order to facilitate mutual co-operation where neceasary for common welfare,
