Stdnet last night. Tho Anglican Synod has nominated the Bev Canon Wm S, Smith, principal of St. Albans College (Theological) Birkenhead. Tho Rev. D. Glynnn Moule, principal of Ridley hall, Oxford Canon Ohevasse of Oxford for tho primecy of Australia, The Bishops of Now South Wales will select I >vo from these; Tbon the Bishops of the «hole of Australia and Tasmania will make the final selection. Among the names mentioned for the primacy were the Bishop of Manchester, Bishop of Truro, Bishop of Adelaido, Archdeacon Farrar of Westminister and Archdeacon Long of Auckland. (Sic). The proceedings are reported to bare boon of rather a stormy naturo.
