During the quarter ending 30th September, the out-pub of gold in Victoria was 144,203 ounces, being 15.599 ounces of an increase, compared with tho out-put for the precsdiug quarter. The principal increases took plaoe in Ballarat (central), Cresw'ck, Sandhurst, Eaglchawk, Maryborough, Pleauant Creek, and Stringers Creek (Wallmlla).
