The performance consists mainly of impersonations of an orphan, a shoeblack, a belle, an old man, a bmijo phyer, and other characters, by Mattic, who is certainly a most wonderful child. The make-nps wero simply perfect,'and tho applause which every few minutes greeted lmr showed that- site had succeeded in plcosins tho audience to the utmost, a distinction seldom achieved by professionals who have visited this town. Her impersonation of an orphan was very touching, and showed that her patliclical powers arc by no menus small, whilst she displayed considerable talent in manipulating the banjo. Mr.ltie is possessed of the makings of a first-class comc'diennc, which she certainly will be in a few years, should the present strain she is undergoing noi destroy her voral powers, My Taylor was very gcoi in the charaofers !:e loolc, and hia rendition of " Chiming 8.-lls " " iiome, ? ; trrcHome," on tho banjo, was loudly and deservedly applauded.
