THAMES SCOTTISH PBIZE JIBING. This company fired at tho Maori range on Saturday for Mr Dey's medal and othor prizes. There wero in all twentyfour competitors, and the shooting gonerally was above the avorage. Tho ranges were 400 and 500 yards; 10 shots each; no sighting Bhot. Four Maori Volunteers from Captain Taipari's company did the marking, and gave every satisfaction. NATIVE VOLUNTEEB COBP3. The second competition for the watch and seven money prizes, presented to this corps by Captain Taipari, took place on Saturday morning at the Parawai range. The watch has to be won three times, and at this competition the highest score was a second time made by Wiremu Te Huia. Below we give the highest scores. The ranges wero 200 yards, position standing, 3rd class targets, 8 inch bullseye ; 400 and 500 yards, 2nd class targets, position any; five shots at each range.

Chubch Parade.—A. cliurcli parade of Volunteers was held yesterday. The Thames Naval Brigade and the No. 2 Company H.B.V. mustered strongly, and there was also a fair attendance of the Native Tolunteer Corps, but the other companies were thinly represented, Headed by the Naval band, the corps marched from Grahamstown to St. George's Church. On the return march, the companies divided at the corner of Mary-street. No. 2 and the Naval Brigade proceeded to Grahamstown, and the others marched to their respective drill halls in Shortland, where they were dismissed.
