MAN DROWNED IN THE KAUWAERANGA RIVER.
At a .latahour last night it was reported to the police that a man.had been found drowned some distance up the Kauwaeranga river by a man named Anderton, No particulars were furnished, and Inspector Bullen started a 'man at once to ascertain particulars, and take what steps were necessary, but up to an early hour this morning no further information had been received.
