DEATH OF A CLERGYMAN.

RESULT OF CAR COLLISION. Per Press Association. DUNEDIN, August 28. A motor accident yesterday .afternoon resulted in the death of the Rev. W. \V. Brown, Presbyterian minister at East Taieri. Mr. Brown left in ms car accompanied by Mrs. Waddell, of the East Taieri school-master, at about 2 o’clock to hold a service at Allanton. He had reached a point where two roads join, when another car struck his car.' One of the back wheels of Mr. Brown’s car came off and the car overturned twice, striking Mr. Brown, who died within three minutes. Mrs. Waddell was very seriously inMr. Brown was a comparatively young man, a native of Invercargill. He took his course at Otago University and ihe Presbyterian Theological College.
