The result of the Dominion ballot taken by the members of the A.S.R.S., the largest section of . the Second Division of the railwaymen, on the acceptance of the finding of the special board that sat in Wellington recently and dealt with the men’s demands for increased wages and better working conditions has now been made public. The figures are not yet available for publication, but it is officially stated that the poll was a large one and that the majority is definitely in favour of accepting the proposals made by the board. ,
