ATTACKED IN THE HOUSE. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. OTTAWA, June 17. In the House of Commons, General Sir Sain Hughes, a former Minister of Defence, declared a British general kicked General Sir Arthur Currie, commanding the Canadian Division in France, out of a dug-out near Yprcs. Mr. Hughes said that if he had remained a Minister a few -weeks longer the resignation of General Currie would have been demanded. Brigadier-General William Gricsliaoh, commanding tho 49th Canadian Battalion during the war defended General Currie’s conduct while commander of the Canadian Division.—-Aus-N.Z. CrdSle Assn.
