The imports totalled £166,333,000 compared with £135,612,000 v duiThg the previous May. The chiet increases' in the exports of manufactured goods are cotton £20,177,000; woollens, £5,079,000; iron and steel £6,574,000. The exports for the five months of the year totalled £522,114,000, compared with £270,193,000. The imports for the same period reached £863,201,000 compared with £594,094,000. Re-, exports of foreign and colonial merchandise totalled £115,767,000, an increase of £72,296,000 compared with the same period of 1919.—Au5.-N.Z.Cable Assn.
