Rain is very urgently needed in the neighbourhood of Eltham. The dry weather and recent frost have told heavily against the growth of grass, and the milk supply at the various factories has fallen off materially. In some localities springs that were never before known to fail have been reduced to the merest trickle, and show signs of failing altogether —Eltham Arcus;
