MOTOR FATALITY.
VERDICT OF CORONER. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. Dec. 8.At an inquest on William Edward Forster Nattrass, who was knocked down by a motor car on December 3, tho coroner returned a verdict to the effect that deceased died as a result of injuries received through being knocked down by John Fearon. The coroner said the evidence appeared to show that the speed was considerably in excess of 2-5 miles an hour stated by the driver. Considering the position of the tramcar from which deceased had alighted and the narrowness of tho road, as well as the fact that there were several persons standing near the corner these having also alighted from the tram, the pace at which the hill was being taken _was quite excessive, unreasonable, and dangerous. ■
