It has been agreed that ali parties in the councils shall ho represented on all tho Boards of Directors in order to champion tho workmen’s view's, the workers' delegates being under an oath of silence regarding business secrets. It has also been decided thaw balance-sheets will bo handed to the councils periodically. A big divergence of opinion, however has arisen owing to Socialist members of the Cabinet desiring tho reforms to bo carried much further. —Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
