GILMOUR OUT MATCHES. ' Saturday’s Gilraour Cup matches were commenced, but rain ect in after n few heads and play had to ha abandoned. INTERPRO VINCI AL MATCH. TARANAKI v. AUCKLAND. Dates for the interprovinoial matches Taranaki v. Auckland to be played at Auckland have now been definitely arranged between tho two centres. The number of rinks will be limited to eight. The Taranaki team will leave by steamer on March 2, returning from Auckland on Monday, March 9. Two interprovincial matches will be played, one on March 3 and one on March 5, and for the 4th and (ith the Auckland Centro will arango club games for the visitors. The trip should be a particularly enjoyable one. Auckland is looking forward with pleasure to tho meeting and hopes that it will bo the forerunner of _ a permanent interchange of visits between the two centres. Secretaries of clubs affiliated to tho Taranaki Centre should bring tho matter prominently before their members, ns the clubs are requested to nominate members who can make the trip. Nominations close on January 27 next, and then three selectors, one from each division of the Centro will | finally select the representative team, j
