LONDON, Dec. 1. The House of Commons was crowded to welcome Lady Astor, and there were many notabilities in the galleries. . Lady Astor wore a simple black frock and was thoroughly self-possess-ed. She walked up the House between Messrs. Balfour and Lloyd George amid loud cheering, signed the roll and took her seat on the Opposition side under tho gangway among tho young Unionists..—Aus-N.Z.
