A large English mail, due tn Auckland on Saturday, December 6, will arrive here on Monday night. A number of the successful exhibitors at the New Plymouth Horticultural Society’s show on Thursday have .generously donated their prize money to the funds of the society. A Dunedin telegram states that the Government has purchased Mr. Maurice Coghland’s farm, of 1240 acres, at Pukekohe, Auckland, for returned soldiers. The price is £20,000.
