FOR NOVEMBER., 1919.

Fresh to strong chilly winds with heavy showers wero recorded daily during the first week. Lighter winds prevailed till the 20th, since which date strong chilly 'wind blow for several hours each day. Storm winds wero recorded on' the 4th, loth and 25th. Douse fog occurred on the 12th. Snow foil on Egmont on 12th, loth, and 25th. The winds nil blew' from southerly points. Nearly all forms of clouds wero noted during the month. Cloudiness ranged from 1 on three days to 10 on two (sunless) days. The 23rd was a day of transparently clear atmosphere, and tho finest of tho season. Following are the full records of tho montit: Maximum shade temperature, 70 deg. on 17th, 59 deg. on 4th and 15 th. Minimum shade temperature, 56 deg. on 26th, 44 deg. on 22nd. Maximum wot bulb, 57 deg. on 18th, 63 deg. on 2nd and 4th. Minimum wet bulb, 55 deg on 26th, 51 deg. on 13th. Solar radiator (sun’s boat) 149 dog. on 14th, US dog. (sunless) on 12th. Sunshine recorder 1 hour 26 min on 20th, 13 hours 38 min. on.. 23rd. Total, 257 hours 48 min. Tho 19th and 15th were sunless days. Rain was recorded tin 17-days. 45 points on 15th, 1 point on 29th. Total rainfall: 2.070 in.
Wind blew from the south on 8 days, south-west 21, and south-soufh-west 1 day. There were no calm days.
