Tho Now Zealand Loan and Alorcautde Agency Company, Ltd., Dannovirke, report tho following sales tor the past week; At AVoodvdle on November 24 wo had ,a good yarning of bum sheep and cattio. Altnough prices wore somewhat easier, a good clearance was effected. At Atakotuku, on November 20, a fair yarding of cattio camo forward, hut very few buyers were in evidence, and very little stock changed hands. At Dannevirko on November 28 only a small yarding of sheep and cattio came forward. Bidding for both throughout was very'dull. Quotations; Shorn owes and wethers 275, fat ewes 435, ewes ami lambs 30s 6d, hoggets 30s 6d, iu.s. hoggets 25s 6d, forward owes 355, springing heifers £B, empty heifers £3 10s, empty cows £4 10s, yearling heifers £3 10s, heifers in_calf £6 12s 6d, 18-raontli steers £2 17s Od, 20-mouth hull 22s Od, 2-yoar bullock £4 7s 6d. Messrs. AVright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., report having offered a fair yarding of cattio at tho Carterton sale on Friday. Pigs sold at lato rates. FARAIF.RS’ CO-OPERATIVE ASSOCIATION. At Inglewood on AAkdnesday, No- ■ veniber 26, there was a full yarding of cattio and a small entry of sheep. There was a good demand for storo cows, and also well-grown year and year and a-half hoifers. one, pen of tho latter fetching £7 10s. There was a limited demand for all classes of steers. The few pons of sheep brought good money. Quotations: AVooily hoggets (small) 24s Gd, shorn hopgots 26s’ Gd, fat cows (extra good) £l7 os, bullocks (medium weights) £ls 2s 6d, fat cows (extra good) to £l2 2s 6d, others £6 to £9, three-year-old steers (fair) £8 15s, two-year-old hoifers £6 17s Cd, yearling steers to £4 IQs, dairy cows to £l7 10s, well-grown yearlings to £7 10s.
