Three furlongs from home Erin’s Queen moved up to Moneymaker and Trix Pointer commenced her run and, slaying on beautifully, the last-named drew away and won by four lengths from Moneymaker, Matchlight being a similar distance in front of Erin’s Queen who heat Sherwood for fourth money by two lengths.
