THE INDIAN FRONTIER.

ULTIMATUM TO WAZARIS. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. ALLAHABAD. Nov. 10. General Clirno presented terms to the Wazaris on the 9th inst. at Dardoni. Thirteen aeroplanes circled overhead during the proceedings. The Wazaris were given eight days to consider the terms, the reply to which must be presented at Datta Khed. This post is at present unoccupied by us, aud it means that onr forces will have to march to ,% itta- Khed between now and the 17 th inst. This move has considerably disconcerted the Wazaris, as he post is of strategic importance. During the last few days aeroplanes have been dropping leaflets over Toohi advising the tribesmen to remove their women and child-ren.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
