WINNIPEG ISOLATED
By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. (Received June 3, 11.40 a.m.) NEW YORK, May 21 (Delayed). The Montreal correspondent uf the New .York Times states that the strike at Winnipeg has now spread until it includes every phase of industrial life. The policemen also threaten to walk out it the demands of tho strikers arc not granted. No trains aro running to Winnipeg; no telegraphs or telephones are working; the eity is practically isolated and has been for many hours without bread or milk. Business is at a standstill and newspapers remain unpublished. The more radical elements declare that they will establish a Soviet Government and take over control of property.—Ans.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
