“THE KAISER’S SHADOW.”

The great mystery drama, “The Kaiser’s Shadow,”' starrrng’delightful Dorothy Dalton, screens finally to-night at Tho People’s. The. programme includes the, latest Gazette, Dictograph, and Mack Sonnett comedy. “THE GUILTY MAN” TO-MORROW.

- Commencing at the matinee to-mor-row, at 2 p.m., Thos. H. linee ! s special production, i“The Guilty Man,” will conclude-on “Monday night. “The Guilty Man” is a soul-stirring drama, and a photoplay of lofty inspiration. Vivian Reed ably plays the part of Marie Dubois. The scenes are all-laid in Paris in the year 1901, and the play is beautifully set and produced. The programme includes Burton-Holmes Travelog and “The Eagle’s Eye,” No. 4.

“THE WOMAN GOD FORGOT.”* The most recent Artcraft release, “The "Woman God Forgot,” is to show at The People’s next Tuesday and Wednefiday. It is an adaptation of “Montezuma’s Daughter, the successful novel by Sir PI. Rider Haggard. The final scenes are by far the most memorable of the whole picture, for they are carried out on a gigantic scale seldom equalled. Tecza is pictured as the last of tho Aztecs, and then she realises that the gods have deserted her. But Alvardo brings her the vision of a new and more gracious God, and provides love as an antidote for tho hate which lias entered her heart. It is said that excellent acting characterises tho production. ■As the Aztec princess, Geraldine Farrar is said to be beautiful and regal in all her moods, and especially charming the love sceries with Alvarado, impersonated by Wallace Reid. “JUST FOR JOY” AND “A WOMAN OF REDEMPTION.”

Something entirely non - in scenic pictures is showing at Everybody’s tonight. This is entitled “Just for Joy,” and is produced by the Educational series, although it must lie admitted that it is far more entertaining than educating. It shows some of the. most dangerous pastimes which anyone could wish to take part in and is quite sufficiently thrilling in a picture. The actual sports themselves must ho about the last word in thrills. The film shows a new development of motor-boat surfing in a. Jake in Idaho, such unique amusements as iog-hirrling, and some of the most exciting pieces of buckjumping ever screened, besides many other uncommon methods of doing things “Just- for Joy.” On the same programme there is a five-reel World film feature “A Woman of .Redemption,” starring popular Juno Elvidge in a new role, that jit a mountain gird in a bright and breezy out-of-doors story.
