RESOLUTION ABOUT IRELAND. PEE FEES 3 ASSOCIATION, WELLINGTON, April 24 The conference of tho Protestant Political Association passed resolutions today expressing confidence in Sir Edward Carson as leader of Ulster, sympathising with Ulstermen in their struggle for liberty, and loyally expressing satisfaction with the British Parliament having applied conscription to Ireland, trusting the opposition of the Roman Catholic hierarchy and Sinn Fein organisation would not deter tho Government from fulfilling their duty to loyalists throughout the Empire. The Dominion Conference of the Protestant Political Association to-day-elected the following officers:—President, Mr. A. Donald; vice-presidents, Messrs. J. A. Hay, E. M'Gregor, Major Johnston; secretary, Mr. H. S. Bilhy; treasurer, Mr. S. Aston; national lecturer, Rev. Howard Elliott; committee, Hon. W. Earnshaw, Rev. Knowles Smith, Messrs. J. Middleton, j. Aston, J. S. Dickson. M.P.; auditors, E. C. Ludwig, J. Kellow and Son.
