WHANGAMOMONA AND KOHURATAHI NOTES.

Jan. 24.—The chief postmaster of New Plymouth’ visited this district last week, and as a result of his visit a satisfactory arrangement has been made for . the conveyance of the mails between Whangamomona, Kqhuratahi and Tahora, thus ensuring a' continuance of the old time-table, which was dislocated owing to the train now only running between Whangamomona and Kohuratahi on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
