COMMONWEALTH WAR EXPENDITURE. (Received Jan. 23, 10 a.m.) MELBOURNE, Jan. 23. In the Senate Senator Millen estimated -the war expenditure of th£ Commonwealth to June this year at £214,880,673, of which £25,834,916 would be paid out of revenue and £189,045,757 out of loan. The annual interest amounted to £8,747,214.
