FOR NOVEMBER. (Recorded at Pukekura Park Meteorological Station, altitude 160 ft.; Mr. \V. W. Smith, 'observer.) Excepting the lowering of the temperatures on the 21st and 22nd, due to the chilly’ S.E. gale blowing on those dates, the month was uniformly mild and seasonable. Though 'the rainfall was the lightest for the corresponding mouth for nine years the mbnth was comparatively free from strong or drying winds. The cloud displays, which generally occurred after noon, ’ were very fine, and comprised, pearly all the forms that occur at heights ranging from 10,000 to 30,000 feet. Tiro average sunshine -per day gave nearly eight hours, which is high for the generally humid climate of Taranaki. ineie was no high maximum temperature.
