Official. —King George was inspecting the army in France on Thursday, when his horse fell. The King was severely bruised, and is confined to his bed. The High Commissioner reports under date London, October 29 (3,15 p.m.):— While inspecting the army m the field yesterday morning the King’s horse, excited by the cheers of* the troops, reared and fell. The King was severely bruised and is confined to his bed at present. To-day’s bulletin states that the King had a fair night with some sleep. His general condition has improved. There are'no complications.
