ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
FATAL MOTOR COLLISION PEB PBESS ASSOCIATION. CHRISTCHURCH, Sept. 13. A motor-car accident in the Ashley river bed at Rangiora on Saturday evening resulted in the death of Leonard Stackhouse, aged 27, youngest son of J. Stackhouse, of Mount Brown Station, near Amberley. The car collided with a gig and the shaft struck the deceased m the stomach. He was removed to the hospital and died yesterday after an operation.
