MINES IN THE WHITE SEA. STOCK HOLM, Juno 17. Tlio mail steamer Thorsten, from Gothenburg to England, was captured and conveyed to Swincmmido. The British steamer Arndale, coal laden, hound for Archangel, was mined southward of Capo Orlov. Three were drowned. Alany mines were seen at tho durance to the AA’hito Sen. AAfSTKRDAM, June 17. A Dutch fishing smack was rained off Knockc. Tho crew of four were killed. BRITISH STEAMER, SUNE. (Received Juno IS, 9.15 a.m.) LONDON, Juno 17. Tho steamer Strathnairn, bound from Cardiff to Archangel with coal, was torpedoed without warniug off tho South Bishop Light. Tho second mate and ten Chinese were landed at Alilford Haven. It is feared tho 'captain and twenty-two of tho crew are drowned. SIOUE VESSELS SUNK. (Received Juno 18, 9 a.m.) LONDON, June 17. Tho Petrol, Explorer, and Japonica, trawlers of Aberdeen, have been sunk by submarines. COPENHAGEN, June 17. Tho Danish steamer Kokos, timborladon for Leith, was sunk a submarine in tho North Soa. Tho crow were saved. BOOTH LINER BLOWN UP. '■Received Juno 18, 10.25 a.m.) IXANDON, Juno 17. A submarine blow up tho Booth steamer Trafford on tho coast of Pembrokeshire. Tho Trafford sank, but tho crew were saved.
