On the motion of tho Lord Chief Justice. Sir George Reid lies been elected an honorary bencher of the -Middle Temple. .Mrs. Klhuiheth Ann l.iicas. the widow of the late Robert laic.is. founder of tho livening Mail, died at Nelson today. Her age was 91, years. The ketch Kereru brought news to Auckland of the death of Dr. E. P. Cameron at Niue Island. He went to tho island about six weeks ago. Tho cause of his death is uncertain,* Out he suffered from an internal complaint.
