The will of the lateHillyard Edward Bullot has been proved before Mr. Justice Cooper on the application of Mr. Hughes, and probate has been granted Mrs. Eva Louisa Bullot, the widow.

Quite a large number of intending voters in the municipal elections found that, owing to their names not being on the roll, they were unable to vote. Many had assumed that because -they were on the parliamentary roll that, no further steps were necessary.

• Mrs. A. M. E. Wheatley, of Lepperton, has received a letter from the secretary of the Overseas Club, thanking her for the sum of £1 13s which she forwarded from Lcpperton subscribers to the Club’s Tobacco Fund for soldiers and sailors at the front.
